On 22 August 2023, the CANMILK consortium met online for the M12 meeting after one year of project implementation. It’s hard to believe how time flies!
The meeting allowed the partners to have an insightful exchange and discussion about the past months and the next steps to be implemented. An important topic was the winter and summer barn air measurements at the Finnish farm Pöytyä. Here, the methane concentration was analysed under different temperature conditions to find out in which direction to best proceed in the future.
A special highlight this time was also the participation of Pilar Roman, Project Officer at the EU agency CINEA, who will supervise the project from the European Commission.
All partners are looking forward to the next exciting period and are highly motivated to move the project further forward.
The next consortium meeting will take place from 7 to 8 February in Antwerp, Belgium.
