The PhD student will focus on developing numerical models that simulate the interaction between reactive species from plasma and various catalytic surfaces, while also evaluating the fundamental synergies between plasmas and surfaces to enhance methane oxidation. The research may involve advanced modeling techniques such as Fluid Dynamics, Monte Carlo simulations, Molecular Dynamics, and Density Functional Theory. A deeper understanding of plasma-catalyst interactions will significantly advance the development of CANMILK’s methane reduction technology.
